Terms of Service

1. The service

Sideproject is an online platform that connects customers with service providers. The service is under active development: features may be added, changed or removed over time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• You can sign up with your email address or with your Google account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for the activity on your account. Tell us right away if you notice unauthorized use.
• One person may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
• Impersonate another person or provide false information.
• Try to access accounts, data or systems that do not belong to you, or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
• Use automated means to create accounts, send requests in bulk or collect data from the service.
• Upload malicious code or content that is illegal, offensive or misleading.

4. Service providers

Users who want to offer services must apply to become providers. We may ask for additional information, and we may approve, reject or revoke a provider account at our discretion to keep the platform safe. Providers are responsible for the services they offer and for complying with the laws that apply to them.

5. Intellectual property

Sideproject, including its software, design and brand, belongs to its owner. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service according to these terms. The information you provide remains yours; you allow us to use it only to operate the service.

6. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep Sideproject available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sideproject and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service or from the services offered by providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Sideproject and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk. When an account is closed, your information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, we will let you know before they apply. If you keep using Sideproject after the changes, you accept the new terms.
